We owe our nation’s veterans everything.  That said, we extend a special thank you to our Vietnam Veterans.  You served with honor during a time of division.  You waded into the fight and endured abuse when you returned home without the welcome and appreciation you so deserved.  Your strength, courage and love of our country are an everlasting example to us all.  Your service and sacrifice to our nation is a debt that we can never fully repay, but for which we are eternally thankful.  You represent the best of us, and you will always have our respect and admiration.  Thank you and welcome home brothers.

To those Vietnam Veterans who have crossed over, we forever mourn your passing and honor your memory.  Your absence is deeply felt and your memory forever honored.

To the families of our Vietnam Veterans, we can only imagine the sacrifices you have made and the challenges you faced.  Your strength and unwavering devotion are admirable.  Behind our Vietnam service men and women, their families waited, worried and prayed for their safe return while wrestling with the added burdens imposed by their service and had to push through life alone.  We thank you for your service to your family and sacrifice for our nation.
