We provide two $1,000.00 awards each year to two deserving Pinkerton Academy graduates. To be eligible for this year's awards, recipients must be:

1.) a graduating 2026 Pinkerton Academy senior and

2.) the child or grandchild of either a U.S. Military Veteran or an active service member and

3.) enrolled in a technical trade program or trade apprenticeship with preference given to the HVAC-R, pipefitting, plumbing or welding trades.  

Applications are now being accepted; to be considered, candidates must submit their applications to the Pinkerton Academy at http://pinkerton.eformsolutions.com/ before the April 1st, 2026, deadline.

Note: Successful recipients may use the funds as they wish; there are no restrictions on how the funds can be utilized.

This award was established in 2024 in honor of the late USMC Gunnery Sargent Doug Crooker who was a three tour Vietnam War Veteran, a dual VFW and American Legion member, and an avid trade school advocate.
