We provide two $1,000.00 awards each year to two deserving Pinkerton Academy graduates. 

To be eligible for the award, graduating 2026 Pinkerton Academy seniors must be:

1.)  the children or grandchildren of either a U.S. Military Veteran or an active service member and

2.) enrolled in a technical trade program or trade apprenticeship with preference given to the HVAC-R, pipefitting, plumbing or welding trades.  

Note: Successful recipients may use the funds as they wish; there are no restrictions on how the funds can be utilized.

This award was established in 2024 in honor of the late USMC Gunnery Sargent Doug Crooker who was a three tour Vietnam War Veteran, a dual VFW and American Legion member, and an avid trade school advocate.
