WELCOME TO DERRY MEMORIAL

VFW Post 1617
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our unique group. Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is your service in  United States Armed Forces in a foreign war or overseas operation recognized by a campaign medal, in Korea after June 30 1949, and recipients of hostile fire or imminent danger pay. Veterans of World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama,  Kosovo, the Persian Gulf, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Global War on Terrorism, and other smaller  peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns, or an army of occupation. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

We are here to work on behalf of our veterans, post members, their families, and our communities. Come Join us! We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, 7:00pm
